Wintersun

Wintersun is a contemplative piece for solo piano of variable duration, based entirely on the rising major scale, inspired by the qualities of the sun during winter in the upper latitudes of the northern hemisphere. It is included as the fifth movement of the larger work Cloud Forms, and can can be performed as a standalone work.
